A competitive handicap for the money where we will give another chance to SPECIAL CUVEE, with last-time winners Camerooney and Miss Bootylishes heading up the opposition. The selection is developing into a specialist over a mile and goes well here, after two excellent efforts in recent weeks. He is 5lbs better off with Camerooney for just a quarter-of-a-length when the pair met here earlier in the month, has won over this trip, and may be one to catch right with the visor now swapped for blinkers. Camerooney is respected despite that weight disadvantage. Miss Bootylishes won a claimer here over this trip last time but a 5lb rise and the return to a handicap will make this a tougher assignment and we'll take her on. General Tufto is 7lbs higher than when a course and distance winner a month ago but has been held from similar marks since and cannot be backed with confidence, and Vertigo On Course might be a better proposition. Richard Fahey's mare was a fast ground Yarmouth scorer in September and tries this surface for the first time. As one who acts with cut on turf she might be able to perform on this surface and a market check is advised with the yard going well. Even so, Special Cuvee is taken to come good this time.
