In depth

Verdict

Bo McGinty can go one better at the expense of Off The Record, Stoneacre Lad and Pieter Brueghel. Bo McGinty was a beaten favourite at Beverley last Wednesday when short-headed by Wanchai Lad. That was a big improvement on anything that he had shown earlier, and he looks all set to get the losses back under Paul Hanagan. Off The Record is unbeaten in three starts here but is creeping up the weights now and tackles older opponents for the first time, while Stoneacre Lad has it to do at the top of the handicap. Pieter Brueghel disappointed yet again at Leicester recently, and he has yet to win on the all-weather. All in all, we much prefer the claims of Bo McGinty despite the fact that he is now upped slightly in class.
