In depth

Formwatch

Spirit of Texas (IRE) Won seller on turf at Nottingham in October; close second to Academic Record at Wolverhampton on last start, again in selling grade; returns after absence of over two months.

Kauri (USA) Well-bred Woodman filly; stepped up a little on previous efforts when close second to Aegean Sunrise at Lingfield over a mile and a half last time; good chance if able to reproduce that level of form on the Fibresand.

Gilt Trip (IRE) Stayed on well to beat Caliban in 9f seller at Wolverhampton last time; ran there as if today's step up in trip would bring improvement.

Emma Clare (IRE) Held by Gilt Trip on Wolverhampton running 10 days ago; steps up to this trip for the first time today and plenty of stamina on dam's side of the pedigree.

Live The Dream Well beaten in five efforts so far; has been slowly away on three occasions; needs to improve.

Spa Gulch (USA) Finished a staying-on third to Saafend Rocket at Wolverhampton in January; disappointing here last time when never showing behind Illustrious Duke; seems inconsistent but has undeniable chance if at his best.

Miss Devious (IRE) Dr Devious filly out of a Woodman mare; well behind in three turf maidens last autumn and in Equitrack handicap in January; tries Fibresand and longer trip for first time and could well improve.

Fille de Dauphin (IRE) Has shown virtually nothing so far.

Time Marches On Has failed to beat a single horse in three attempts to date.
