      In depth

      Formwatch

Adelphi Boy (IRE) Has got winning form on this track; not been seen since October though so could need the outing today.

Air Mail Has been in good form through a busy winter campaign; close third to Chispa over 6f earlier this month; seems equally suited by 6f and 7f.

Social Contract Beat On The Trail and Marnie in competitive Lingfield handicap last time out; seems best suited by this trip and has shown he can go on Fibresand in the past, so should be a force here.

Effervescent Has been beaten on all tries at this distance to date, having shown best form over shorter; however was finishing strongly over 6f at Wolverhampton last time when beating Teyaar in close finish.

Intricate Web (IRE) First time at Southwell; has run well in three all-weather starts at Wolverhampton this winter, including last time when second to Keen Hands; 7f suits ideally; should go well.

Guilsborough Won three races on the bounce here last summer but not in such good form recently; well held by Air Mail on form here last month.

Foreign Editor Seems best at Wolverhampton where he has scored four times; has a little to find with Air Mail and Effervescent on recent form.

My Tess Has won twice over this course and distance; behind Effervescent, Foreign Editor and Air Mail when 11th in Wolverhampton handicap last time out.

Baccura (IRE) Won maiden at Pontefract last summer, followed by good second in Goodwood nursery; all-weather debut here; interesting contender from shrewd stable.

Sumthinelse First outing since October; third in Class D handicap at Wolverhampton in September; hard to fancy.

Shush All-weather debut here; ran in Listed company at York in August; showed speed at Yarmouth in nursery last time out in October when fifth to Sir Francis; interesting if taking to dirt.

Lord Omni (USA) Stable in good form; got up close home to win Southwell handicap last time from Royal Romeo and Czar Wars; up in grade and trip here but sure to be a prominent contender.

Moonlight Song (IRE) Has been performing consistently this winter; has won three times over course and distance; closely weighted with Social Contract on recent Lingfield running.

Sea Ya Maite Seasoned all-weather campaigner; never got into race here last time behind Fallachan; hard to fancy in this Class C grade.

Sand Hawk Suited by course and distance but has not been in good form recently.
