        Verdict

        Ice And Fire, Makarim and Smart Bay Prince are the three against the field with the last named getting the vote. The selection won over two miles back in January and has been running well both over jumps and on the flat of late. He comes here in great form and is a horse to stay on the right side of. Makarim did win on the sand at Southwell back in January but has since been a little out of sorts while Ice And Fire has been running more favourable of late having not been beaten far in each of his last three races so is worth noting in the market. But for the winner we return to Smart Bay Prince.
