      Verdict

      Marvel returned to action with a neck defeat in a handicap here. But he’s conceding weight to the less-exposed IF YOU DARE, who made a promising debut when narrowly beaten at Lingfield and can go one better if handling the surface. Chantreys and Shamrock Wine have plenty of improvement to find but Entwistle is related to a couple of decent sprinters and is preferred to fellow newcomer Catesby.
