In depth

Verdict

The penny clearly dropped with Shades Of Silk last month as she landed a double over track and trip. Connor Beasley's allowance reduces a 5lb rise for her latest success and another bold bid is expected. But a chance is taken on WALTA in this given his only previous start at the track resulted in an easy win over 5f. He looks particularly well suited to this surface on the evidence of his modest efforts elsewhere so gets the vote. Meebo remains a shade high in the weights but Tahchee can figure if taking to the Fibresand.
