Interstice comes here in cracking form and is sure to be a popular choice to keep his winning run going. However, he should have been beaten last time by the reluctant Bhutan, who has since thrown the towel in again, and he looks to be up against it off a 4lbs higher mark. The handicapper has taken a chance in dropping Caesarean Hunter 4lbs. He hasn't been the only one to suffer behind the well treated Altay recently and he arguably ran just as well behind Linning Wine the outing before. Both of those efforts were on the Polytrack, but as he showed when winning at Wolverhampton, he is more at home on this Fibresand surface. However, the choice is Gingko, who was just denied here earlier in the month. Paul Webber's six-year-old clearly likes it here as he has only been out of the frame here once in five outings. Marshal Bond was an expensive failure over course and distance last time, but he is clearly better than that effort and must be kept an eye on if the market speaks in his favour.
