    Verdict

OUTER SPACE won at Chelmsford before finding only one too good off today’s mark over track and trip last week - he gets a speculative vote in an open contest. War Department also ran well again last time having won at Newcastle earlier while Dusky Dawn scored at the same track recently and both have gone close on the Fibresand before. The latter comment also applies to Twin Appeal but Sir Billy Wright’s recent course win came over 5f. A winner on the all-weather in France, Quixote has slipped down the weights and posted a much better effort last time while Supersta is not out of this either.
