Verdict

Adam Wedge gave Timoca a great ride to land the spoils at Towcester eight days ago and the mare escapes a penalty for that success. But she may have her stamina stretched over this extra half-mile and preference is for CALL ME BILL. Peter Bowen's gelding ran his best race so far over this trip at Worcester last week and can go one better today. Points winner Only Witness hasn't shown a great deal under Rules so far, while The Fox's Decree has had plenty of chances and has disappointed lately. Suburban Bay fared a little better when dropped into this grade last time, however, and could be improving.
