      Verdict

      TIGHT KNIT failed to land the odds when third over track and trip last month but both the winner and runner-up have subsequently boosted the form. James Tate's colt can make amends by landing this. Makinson Lane won a maiden here in February but finished behind Apache Rising when the latter was third over course and distance last time and Bryan Smart's charge looks a danger. Luv U Whatever had Loki's Strike five lengths behind when winning an apprentices' race here last week and avoids a penalty but this is much tougher and he'll need to improve further if he's to follow up in this grade.
