In depth

Verdict

Kanisorn, Annibal Caro and Ming Vase look the trio to concentrate upon and we are with the first named. Ruth Carr's charge has not been disgraced in handicaps earlier in the season and while he put up a stinker last time out, the booking of Neil Callan today suggests that that run was merely a bad day at the office. Annibale Caro is yet to win on an artifical surface. Better known as a plating hurdler, he has been found a bad race to contest this afternoon. Ming Vase has to be respected in light of Paul Midgeley's form this year. Countrywide Luck won off a mark of 70 two seasons ago for Nick Littmoden but he was well turned over on a seasonal reappearance at Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago. Key Partners is best of the rest but that isn't saying a lot. A moderate contest in which Kanisorn is put forward to the most minimal of stakes.
