    Verdict

Owed is selected for this sprint handicap with Cape Cobra and Music Box Express presenting the most obvious opposition. Robin Bastiman's charge is exposed as ordinary but he seems to reserve his best for Southwell these days and with the in-form Paul Hanagan booked, a bold bid can be anticipated. Cape Cobra is a relatively rare runner for John Gosden and is accordingly respected in the event of any market confidence. Music Box Express is always dangerous if getting away smartly. He is unproven on this surface so is reluctantly overlooked. Doctor's Cave made hay off lower marks and is noted in the market on seasonal reappearance. Cape Of Storms is exposed as ordinary but should run his usual race. Mind Alert has been well turned over here in the past so Cool Sands might be a more realistic proposition of the Derek Shaw pair. The Fisio is never usually too far away. Plenty of plausible opportunities for many and Owed looks best placed to prosper.
