In depth

Verdict

Kettlewell was a decent bumper horse and the fact that McCoy has kept faith with him suggests a big run is on the cards. But NEW YEAR'S EVE should be good enough here if fully wound-up as he was unlucky not to win over timber last season and showed his quality with a fine second to River Maigue at Kempton last Boxing Day. Keel Haul has won a point-to-point but has looked one-paced so far over hurdles while Bob Tucker has 16 lengths to find with Kettlewell on Bangor running.
