In depth

Verdict

This won't take much winning so we'll stick with ROYAL PEAK in the hope that he decides to put his best foot forward again as he did here 12 days ago when winning a novices' handicap by 19 lengths. He's 15lb higher now but few of his rivals arrive in any kind of form. Newton Abbot fourth Listen And Learn may be improving but Ailanthus was flattered by her latest fourth and Brass Monkey has disappointed since winning over a shorter trip here in June while all of Bob Lewis' best runs have come at Towcester.
