      Verdict

A wide open contest here and one in which jockeyship will be all important and with this in mind the principal look to be Fille D'honfleur,Desert Spa and Fiddles Music and the tentative vote is given to Fille D'honfleur. The selection was disappointing last time when pulled up on ground that was softer than ideal but prior to that he had won well when beating Hilarious. He again has conditions to suit and off what remains a fair mark he is taken to bounce back to form. Desert Spa rates the main danger on his latest win over Amused but that was a seller and this looks more competitive so he is passed over for that reason. Fiddles Music is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Idlewild but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and for that reason he is overlooked. Mr Fernet has place prospects on his best form but he never runs to races a like so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Lone Soldier has conditions to suit and could run well at a price but for the winner we return to Fille D'honfleur.
