Nelson's Spice is hard to oppose here with Herne Bay and Mondial Jack rating the main dangers. The selection has won his last two races in good style and although rising in the weights he again has conditions to suit and he is taken to defy the handicapper as he only does as much as he has to in his races and could still be well ahead of him. Herne Bay rates the main danger on his best form but he was well beaten off this mark last time out and although he is sure to have come on for the run he still has a little to find. Mondial Jack is another that could go well as he won a point to point last time out when beating Fleur De Nikos. However this looks more competitive and he looks vulnerable under top weight. Borehill Joker is well weighted on his best form and could go well at a price but he would not want any rain. Of the others Rabbit has the ability to go close off this mark but is hard to win with and with this in mind for the winner we return to Nelson's Spice .
