In depth

Verdict

SUPERIOR FIRE can recoup losses incurred when a beaten favourite on his debut at Warwick. He wasn't beaten far and is probably facing lesser rivals here. Quinlandio will be striving to go one better than at Ffos Las and the pair are receiving 14lb from Henllan Harri, beaten twice since making a winning debut on fast ground at Perth last summer. Newcomers to note include Broughtons Rhythm, and Well Rewarded. The latter is by Beneficial and a full brother to useful staying hurdler Call Rog.
