In depth

Verdict

This is a wide open event and Arctic Glow is narrowly taken to get the better of Native Commander and Man of Mine. The selection chased home Rockys Girl at Taunton last time so the form could have been given a boost if Rockys Girl has run well in the previous race here. Nonetheless, that was a sound run and with this drying ground also in her favour Artic Glow should be hard to beat. Native Commander was returning from a break when a bit disappointing last time but he may be a little sharper for the run and he is worth factoring in. Man Of Mine was well beaten at Folkestone last time but that was over fences and the return to hurdles should see him in a better light. Forest Emerald has hinted at having ability but he was pulled-up last time and his overall profile leaves him with a little to find. We will therefore stick with Artic Glow as our choice to lead them home.
