In depth

Verdict

Another tough race to call here for punters with many in with chances on there best form but the principals look to be Sendani, Kickahead and Mexican Pete and the tentative nomination is given to Sendani. The selection was a fair fifth in what looked a stronger race behind Kia Kaha at Cheltenham last time out and off what remains a fair mark he looks the one to be on. Kickahead rates the main danger on his latest second behind Bureaucrat but he continues to rise in the weights without winning and looks opposable on that basis. Mexican Pete is another that could go well he has conditions to suit but he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type under top weight. Cottingham was third behind Ring The Boss last time and is another with place claims while Bon Viveur could improve for the fitting of first time blinkers but for the winner we are happy to return to Sendani who could be ahead of the handicapper.
