In depth

Verdict

Kahrayn gets the confident vote in the finale with Greenbridge and Do The Locomotion rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind Openditch last time out, that form looks solid in the context of this race and with his yard continuing in good form he will be hard to beat. Greenbridge rates the main danger on his latest second behind Rightway Star but he looks the stables second string on jockey bookings and is taken on with this in mind. Do The Locomotion showed promise in bumpers and could improve for the switch to hurdles but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Or Bleu is another with place claims but he will be handicapped after this run and that is where his future may lie. Of the others Piamontini would be a danger to all learning to settle but that is a big if and for the winner we return to Kahrayn.
