Verdict

DON'T ASK defied a couple of mistakes when making all on his hurdles debut at Bangor and a better round of jumping can see him defy a penalty. Triple point-to-point winner Dan Mcgrue has been disappointing over hurdles so far and connections will be hoping a drop in trip will do the trick while River Bray showed a bit more promise at Southwell. Gertie Getaway has hinted at ability and her allowance will help while Skinflint is interesting having been bought for £30,000 at the sales in March of last year following a close second in an Irish point-to-point.
