Verdict

Stan Moore's Sir Lunchalot probably has the best form among those to have raced previously and he has to be respected having shown fair form in his last two starts but this is likely to go to one of the newcomers with Tim Easterby's TILLIEMINT preferred to stable companion Kodibelle. The last mentioned comes from a stable that has started the season pretty well and being a daughter of Kodiac, should be suited by sprint trips so she has to be considered. Capall Dorcha gave little sign of encouragement first time up and looks best watched, while the Michael Dods-trained Madam Markievicz will need to improve on what she showed on her debut to trouble the judge. Jeremy Glover's Sacrosanctus is likely to do better over further and of more interest may be the Patrick Morris-trained Celtic Anu, who is bred to be useful but would probably prefer the rain to fall. The vote then goes the way of Tim Easterby's Tilliemint, who makes plenty of appeal on pedigree being a daughter of Acclamation out of a Theatrical mare and she is taken to make a winning start to her career.
