In depth

Verdict

Eloquent Rose created a favourable impression when making a winning debut at Pontefract last month and Ann Duffield's filly is taken to follow up at the main expense of the other winner in the field Stolt and Feelin Foxy. The last mentioned ran with credit on her Haydock debut and could well improve for the run so she has to be respected. The David Nicholls-trained Hawaii Prince makes plenty of appeal on pedigree but the yard's two-year-olds tend to improve with racing so he may be best watched first time out. Kevin Ryan has started the season in good form so the son of Piccolo, We'll Confer, would have to be respected along with Musselburgh winner Stolt but Eloquent Rose beat some useful looking types at Pontefract and is taken to follow up.
