    In depth

    Verdict

Cool Ebony comes here in good nick and will no doubt be popular, however Efidium has a decent record at the track and he gets the nod ahead of Kaymich Perfecto and Tough Love. The selection actually won this corresponding race last year and Neville Bycroft's long-standing servant comes here in fair form having finished a respectable third last time out at Redcar. That was a bounce back and feasibly weighted now on a mark of 68, he can go well with Neil Brown able to claim a valuable 5lbs. Tough Love and Esoterica both have winning course form however it can be argued that both are more effective at seven furlongs, so of more interest for punters may be Kaymich Perfecto. Richard Whitaker's charge stays well and will appreciate a decent gallop so may go well at a fair price. Cool Ebony is slightly above his highest winning mark but still rates a main danger, whilst Waterline Twenty looks well-treated and can go well if getting the gaps late on. This is competitive, but Efidium is taken to win again.
