Trainer Alan McCabe marked out MAJOR MUSCARI as one to follow earlier in the campaign and he can build on the promise of two previous runs to break his maiden this evening at the main expense of Lady Kildare. Our selection has shown plenty of speed over both 6f and this, the minimum trip, so far. He goes on a sound or fast surface and from a good draw he can prevail. Lady Kildare is also drawn high and is respected, though she didn't progress quite as expected last time and looks vulnerable. Gottcher came on for his first run and is very much worth a market check, while the same can be said of debutant Crimson Cloud, who represents powerful connections and is related to plenty of winners. Major Muscari can come good.
