Richard Fahey took this race last year with Flying Bantam and he has another likely candidate in Handsome Falcon, however it is Spinning who makes most appeal today and he gets the nod. The selection ran well on his recent reappearance when second to The Osteopath at Redcar. That run over a mile may just have stretched his stamina a tad and now dropped to seven furlongs on his favoured soft ground, he should put up a very bold performance. King Harson has experience on his side and is another who may have benefitted for a recent pipe-opener, whilst simialr comments apply to Maia and Gilded Youth although neither's stable is yet to start firing. Cheery Cat has claims, with his recent spin likely to have blown away some cobwebs, whilst Michael Dods has his team in good form at this early stage of the season and thus Hiccups could run well. Stablemate Osteopathic Remedy and John Quinn's Violent Velocity are two more to consider in an open contest, however it is Spinning who can get back to winning ways.
