Pomme De Terre was always travelling well when scoring over the course and distance a fortnight ago and a 5lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big effort. Off The Scale and One Boy fought out the finish of a similar event at the same fixture and both should be prominent again while Captain Lars has run well in three races on soft ground recently. Dinneratmidnight was always in the firing-line when scoring at Pontefract on Wednesday and comes here with a penalty but Casterbridge has only won at 5f, though he'll enjoy the conditions. SEE THE STORM was running in better class handicaps for most of last season and though he hasn't won since 2014 appears to go well fresh and his close second at Goodwood in September puts him in the frame for this.
