WAR CORRESPONDENT was unlucky not to score between the flags and looks ready to gain his first success under Rules after a fine effort behind the promising Captain Canada over the C&D last month. The remainder were well beaten off and he should go one better. Most of his rivals arrive from the point-to-point field with Coolnagorna Giggs having the best recent form after scoring at Ballydarragh last month. Rocknrollrambo has been placed a couple of times while Sophies Shadow scored at Boulta in November, though she ran poorly over hurdles at Limerick on St Stephens Day. Mimi And Bow may prove best of the remainder.
