White Lilac was no match for the odds-on Good Thyne Tara on her debut under Rules at Clonmel but that was still a promising first run under Rules and she’ll have learnt plenty. However, she may also find one too good here in the shape of HICKEY’S ROCK (NAP) as Mouse Morris’ five-year-old just struggled for pace on quicker surfaces in the autumn but should come into his own now racing on ground with plenty of give. Aint Dunne Yet’s three runs have come at wide intervals but he’s shown definite signs of ability and this is probably a little bit easier. Three Kings and Mr Champers are looking a little exposed now, however.
