JETT won over the course and distance in November and has been competing at a much higher level subsequently. He found 2m5f stretching his stamina at Leopardstown but only weakened in the closing stages and this is his trip. The veteran Mallowney hasn't won since landing a Naas Grade 2 two years ago but takes a drop in class while last year's winner Westerner Point bounced back to form over 2m7f at Fairyhouse where he travelled well throughout. Kilcarry Bridge is better over further but still looks best of his stable's entries while Goulane Chosen, a winner at Clonmel in November, was racing over hurdles when well beaten last month.
