MONA BROWN had some very strong form in her first season but remained a maiden until Dundalk in November. She won there again on her reappearance but has no problems with testing ground and the assessor appears to have been lenient with just a 3lb rise. South South West had been in very good form over hurdles before reverting to the Flat with a good run at Gowran and he looks quite nicely handicapped. It will be a surprise if he's not thereabouts while the mud-loving The Four Elms put a couple of poor runs over hurdles behind him to win easily on the level at Limerick. Leroy Parker will love the ground though he's 8lb higher than for his latest victory.
