Verdict

Most of Ballydoyle's youngsters have needed their initial run this season so the performance of After at the Curragh suggests better is to come but she appeared to get outpaced over that 6f and the drop in trip may not help. Just in front of her that day and showing blistering early pace was BOGINI and it's Tracey Collins' filly, who led at this trip, who gets the vote. The winner that day, Janey Muddles, is trained by Jim Bolger who has his team in sparkling form. He's represented here by Banuil, who finished last on her debut over the C&D, and newcomer Somasach, who is related to numerous speedy winners and could prove the main threat. Chocolate Hills has plenty of pace in her pedigree and is one to note on her debut.
