Varrane showed good speed for a long way on quick ground at Navan but was behind Dolce Strega, who missed the break and stayed on strongly. The latter should be better suited by the much softer going and rates a threat to all. Jim Bolger runs the newcomer Intense Stylist, the brother of a 6f two-year-old winner, though Kevin Manning chooses to ride the experienced Bobailin. He looked a certain future winner after his opening runs in strong maidens and probably found the going too firm at Fairyhouse last time. ZEBGREY improved from her debut to run very well over 6f at Fairyhouse and was beaten less than two lengths when fourth in a Listed contest over today's track and trip last month. A repeat of that would be good enough for this.
