In depth

Verdict

LILLY THE LIONESS has really found her form this summer having won on the Flat and over fences on this track and being placed twice over hurdles at the Galway Festival. She's only 3lb higher than when runner-up to the in-form Ridestan at Killarney last month and should be good enough for this. Easter Spirit was 10 lengths behind her here in June but has the scope to get closer while the veteran Mahrajaan is another versatile performer having won over fences at Killarney last month. Moreece is still a maiden but hasn't been running badly over timber while Beau Michael and Cottesloe won't lack expertise in the saddle.
