In depth

Verdict

Prove The Point carried a big weight to victory over the in-form Try Again on soft ground at Leopardstown last week and though 4lb higher should make a bold bid to complete a quick double. However, NOT A WHISPER (NAP) started favourite that day and didn't get the best of runs and the fact that Pat Smullen is on board again suggests his mount can gain compensation. Burren View Lady bounced back to winning ways on Polytrack at Lingfield on Saturday and appears best on that surface these days but Not A Bad Oul Day has done his winning on Turf and will enjoy the testing conditions more than most. Keep Believing did well to finish runner-up on heavy going at Cork but takes on older horses for the first time.
