Verdict

Dr Patmassini is an interesting entry having recently landed a point at Bartlemy in good style but this may chiefly concern THE REAL ARTICLE and Regal Ambition. The former has to concede lumps of weight but could hardly have made a more impressive start to his career than when storming to victory on fast ground at Cork and looks a very promising type for Edward O'Grady. The four-year-old Regal Ambition looks certain to be a threat after an encouraging second on soft ground at Listowel last month. Nina Carberry's mount will be receiving 10lbs taking jockey claims into account and should make a race of it with the selection. There was plenty to like about the debut of Montagnard in a tough event at Punchestown last month and Jane Foley's charge will improve while JT McNamara will ensure Paddysparks gets a good ride.
