In depth

Verdict

MEOW attracted plenty of support on her debut at Dundalk earlier this month which isn't surprising granted her very speedy pedigree. She couldn't quite cope with the much more experienced Moment Of Weakness at the finish and went down by a short-head and this daughter of Storm Cat out of Cheveley Park winner Airwave will be expected to go one better. However, she is up against the Ballydoyle newcomer Queen Of Spain, who is closely related to the brilliant Mastercraftsman and a Grade 3 winner in the USA so it would be no great shock if she were to upset the likely favourite. Brookley Lady made a promising debut behind Ballydoyle's Samuel Morse but has shown signs of temperament subsequently and is tried in blinkers for the first time here.
