Verdict

It's a long time since a four-year-old won this but Icy Reply has improved since stepping up in trip and has further progress in her. CLARA MC CLOUD is a nice staying prospect who couldn't quite get to Aranhill Chief over 2m4f at Bellewstown but will be much better suited by this trip. She's handed the vote as it was only a moderate handicap that Rodriguez won at Roscommon. Meldrum Lad could prove a threat as he was eased right down for an easy victory over 2m4f at Wexford and looks certain to be suited by this extra quarter-mile. Draycott Place has been highly tried and had little chance behind Simenon here last weekend after a couple of minor victories.
