    In depth

    Verdict

Course and distance winner Ballyegan showed little at Taunton last month but Brown Bear got back to winning ways in a three-runner race at Fontwell and High Aspirations hinted at a revival at Newton Abbot. Bertie Lugg has had just the three runs over fences so far and drops down a grade for this but Followmybuttons is best watched until he gets some confidence. MR JIM was such an easy winner of a conditionals’ race at Plumpton last time that he has to be the selection here racing off the same mark on a similar surface.
