In depth

Verdict

Read All About It gets the nod here ahead of The Ring and Zacharova. The selection has been off the track for 249 days but he comes here seeking the hat-trick. He has been transformed since he came across from Ireland and as long as the ground doesn't deteriorate too much then he should run a big race with the blinkers on once again. The Ring has claims but his strike-rate isn't too hot and his big weight might just find him out as it did the last time he ran over the course and distance. Carry Duff proved disappointing when last seen as he was well fancied at Carlisle, but he remains capable of better especially now encountering slightly better ground. Radnor Lad and Padre both try first-time blinekrs in the hope of bringing about some improvement, whilst Zacharova is very consistent but may well be in the handicappers grip now. At a price Keepatem could hit the frame, however it is Read All About It who gets the nod.
