In depth

Verdict

David Arbuthnot's team continues in terrific form and THE STRAWBERRY ONE is fancied to follow up her wins over C&D 11 days ago. The mare made mistakes that day but was always travelling better than he rivals and she's the type to improve further as she gains experience. Mister Chancer has had a short break since getting off the mark at Hereford in March but still looks a better bet than stablemate Cool Steel, despite reservations about the faster surface here. Hurdling newcomer My Mate Max boasts some decent form in staying races on the Flat and could easily prove the pick of the remainder if his jumping holds up with the rest yet to prove themselves under Rules.
