Paddy Brennan rode a brilliant race to get Current Climate home at Fontwell but the combination of a 5lb rise and faster going may prevent his mount following up. Craiglands was racing off a 17lb higher mark a year ago but was beaten from 2lb lower last time, though he finished in front of Midnight Macarena, Qualypso D'Allier and JOLLY BOYS OUTING. The latter was beaten a long way but was never in the hunt until staying on late and, as the ground was much quicker when he won this a year ago, he's given the nod to follow up. The 16-year-old Marked Man is probably still capable of a decent effort on ground he loves.
