The Venetia Williams-trained Sweet Oona deserves to win a race after a string of placed efforts but she may again have to settle for a minor role with In Accord preferred to Barrys Ark. The last mentioned won a bumper at Hereford in November and should improve for his first start over hurdles at Folkestone last month. He rates a bigger threat than Michael Scudamore's Ballyjohnboy Lord, who showed promise in Ireland and now makes his British debut. Noel Chance introduces the son of Zaffaran Make It A Double, for who a market move would be of interest, while another representative from the stable of Venetia Williams' stable Bewleys Guest may be capable of better than he has shown so far. David Wintle's Mead has shown signs of ability but the vote goes to In Accord. Henry Daly's gelding has easily the best form on offer and a reproduction of his recent efforts should suffice.
