A good race and QUAZY DE JOIE is our selection in it with Omme Antique and Pontiff respected. Jonjo O'Neill has his string in relatively fair fettle and while Quazy De Joie is not the most straight forward of individuals, he seems to stay the trip and on the basis of his third in a hot handicap at Warwick in December, he would have to have a more than fair shout if putting it altogether. Omme Antique has progressed from a low base figure and has a very light racing weight. Today represents a step up in trip and therefore a leap into the unknown. Pontiff misfired last time though he made all to win readily at Warwick on his previous visit to the track. Shaking Hands continues to fly up the handicap - latterly by 3lb without even leaving the security of his box. Woodlands Genpower is something of a standing dish around here though his last two runs have suggested that old father time might finally be catching up with him. Paddy's Tern travelled well at Sedgefield last time out though probably didn't stay the marathon 3m3f trip. Mokum is not totally out of it on some of his better form though he showed little interest in a Military Riders race at Sandown. Quazy De Joie is tentatively offered up.
