Clearly Capable beat better fancied rivals in a point-to-point on fast ground at Bartlemy in May, his first sign of ability. Dual hurdles winner Dawerann hasn't shown much in half-a-dozen starts over fences nor has Vic Approach in his four races but winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Western Home made a fair debut over the bigger obstacles at Downpatrick. She's only five so gets plenty of allowances and looks the main threat to SHOW AND GO. He won a hurdles event at Downpatrick on good ground in July and returned there last month to finish a close fourth over fences behind Sister Annie, who runs in the previous race.
