      Verdict

      Desert Friend has been chasing, scoring at Clonmel early last month before pulling up at Tipperary a week ago. MAGNETIC NORTH landed a Leopardstown handicap in May and a Limerick claimer last month. He starts for a new yard here and looks the one to beat. Black Soul has shown little in maidens but Colin Keane is an interesting booking. Hurricane Helen hasn't been running badly but like Doyouthinkso has a lot to find at the weights while Kiss My Lucky Egg, a winning bumper, was well beaten over hurdles at Wexford last month.
