Verdict

As is the case with many inmates from the O'Neill stable, Strongly Suggested returned to form after a fallow period and it would be no surprise to see him follow up. It was at a similar stage last year he came back from a losing sequence to complete a quick hat-trick and he is only 5lb higher than his latest success. But VEXILLUM has a strong claim if forgiven his latest out-of-character performance when pulling up at Newton Abbot. Never travelling with comfort at any stage that day, he is given another chance on the back of a winning run of three victories from the previous five starts. Canicallyouback went down by less than a length in a driving finish at Ffos Las on his latest start and is dangerous now he seems to have got the hang of jumping the larger obstacles.
