In depth

Verdict

The ground might not be quite soft enough for Hoh Viss so whilst we may see an improved display today, we prefer the claims of the unexposed Tamadot ahead of Heir To Be. The selection won a point-to-point before making solid strides over hurdles this season on soft ground. His runs in Novice company suggest that this mark of 121 is about right, if maybe slightly high, but his jockey's 7lb claim and his undoubted potential suggests that a big run is on the card. Go Amwell showed a good attitude when scoring last time, and he will appreciate a strong pace, whilst Heir To Be won well last time out and is a course and distance winner, but he isn't straightforward and it remains to be seen whther he will respond to the visor for the second time. Magnifico is fairly consistent, whilst Miss Mitch would be a player is her jumping holds up. King's Rock is another to throw into the mix, however we will return to Tamadot for the nomination.
