In depth

Verdict

Pantherus and Royaltea are sure to be popular with punters here but we will seek a bit of value and side with Phoenix Eye to come out on top. The selection won well last time out when getting the better of Notre Cyborg and although the form is only modest, that will have done his confidence the world of good and we know that he comes here on good terms with himself. In contrast Pantherus was well beaten last time and although this is an easier assignment today he is probably one to take on at the forecast odds. Royaltea won well last time when beating Dunguaire Lady and although the form is pretty modest this race will not take much winning and she may be open to further improvement. Zacharova is another to consider but the yard is not firing on all cylinders at present and Phoenix Eye could prove to be a more solid bet.
